Vintage Omas Extra Lucens Tortoiseshell Fpnear Mint
Offered is a rare chance to acquire a highly desirable, vintage omas extra lucesn fountain pen in the spectacular tortoiseshell color ca. 1936. This pen, manufactured in italy from a celluloid material, is a prestigious writing instrument with a twelve-faceted cap and barrel and in near-mint condition with no major scratches nor cracks. This pen has three gold-plated rings on its cap and a gold-plated ring on the barrel separating the piston turn mechanism from the rest of hte barrel.
The pen has the original 14 kt. Gold omas fine nib as indicated yb its 585 engraving. The pen measures 5 3/8 in length when closed. The piston-filler mechanism works beautifully and this pen still has some gold ni the omas inscription on its barrel and although visible, is a bit faded.
The pen is simply gorgeous and real stunning! The tortoiseshell model is perhaps the most difficult to find and this will certainly be a centerpiece of a vintage pen collection.
